MetaData
Metadata provides additional information about files or folders and helps organize and categorize them more effectively in the document management system. This document covers the process of setting, filling, and viewing metadata.
Fill MetaData
When a file or folder is added, metadata (profile form) information is collected from the user and assigned to the corresponding file or folder. See Fill MetaData documentation for more details.
Set MetaData
Metadata (Profile) is a form that provides additional information about a file or folder, making it easier to organize and manage. In the Synergy platform, metadata forms can be used for repositories, folders, and files. These forms help in organizing documents more efficiently and speed up search results. See Set MetaData documentation for more details.
View MetaData
To view metadata information for files or folders, right-click on the folder or file and select Show Profile, or after selecting a file/folder, click Open > Show Profile from the top menu. See View MetaData documentation for more details.
